Via your personal TS4H email address. |
| Can I contact the producers/media that use this site on my own? |
No. They will contact you if they’re interested. |
| If my story sells, what’s next? |
You make a deal with the given Hollywood/Media Professional. We strongly advise that you seek legal counsel before signing anything. Once you have a completed deal you will let us know your story has sold/been optioned so that we can add you to our list of success stories. |
| Do I have to give you 5% of the sale? That seems like a lot. |
Standard industry agent/manager fees are 10-15%. The 5% fee allows us to keep this service available for people like you. |
| If I’ve sold my story to one media professional, can I leave it posted here for other options to sell it? |
If you have signed a contract with a Hollywood/Media Professional your story can not be considered by anyone else for the period of time covered by the contract. |
| I sold my story before my posting term was up. Do I get credit? |
No. The fee is a posting, processing fee. If you sell it before your time runs out, good for you! |
| I've tried to log on to look at my story but it isn't coming up. |
Has your 6 months expired? You can renew by going to your account page and renewing there. |
| My story doesn’t look right or it’s missing text. |
Did you go over the maximum 1500 words? Only the first 1500 words will show up. |
| How do I know no one will steal my story? |
We have done everything we can to protect your story. Only pre-screened, legitimate Hollywood and Media professionals have access to your story. We also have a tracking system that tells us exactly which executives, writers, producers or directors have viewed your story. Finally, you are protected simply because the story you're posting is true and the value of saying it's a true story is not something that can be kept by stealing your story. This is your story and you own the rights to it. |

| How do I get an account? |
You must be an industry professional who has the power to buy/acquire stories. If we aren't familiar with you or your company we will ask you for two industry references. It can take up to 5 business days to check your references before you will be able to sign in and access the stories. Please see the sign up page for more info. |
| Do I need to pay to have an account? |
No. All valid media companies will be able to sign up free of charge. |
| I can’t login. |
Make sure you are using the correct username and password. If we needed to check your referrals it can take up to 5 business days to have access to the site. |
| Will my contact info be given to the story tellers? |
No. It is up to you to contact the Storyteller if you're interested in their story. We will never supply the Storyteller with your contact information. |
