| Writer/Director Eric Weber whose award winning film, SECOND BEST, was in competition at Sundance two years ago, has optioned GENERAL PATTON'S SERGEANT, from the site.
Additionally, an option deal was just closed by writer Steve Beck (CHICAGO HOPE, SUE THOMAS, P.I.) for the coming-of-age, edgy adventure, DOWN UNDER, which he plans to turn into a feature script. |

| Anne Ramirez listened to Doug Draizin on KABC talk radio on Saturday, December 8 and posted her true story, Cambodian Killing Fields Mystery, as a draft on TrueStories4Hollywood.com.
Of all the truly good stories that were posted, Anne's story was chosen to win the competition and her story is now active on the site for the next nine months.

Producers and studios are quick to snatch up stories based on true-life tales because truth is often stranger than fiction. True stories add immediate weight and "importance" to a potential film. |
